Latching relay

AAT is developing a series of smart latching relays for the smart meter industry. Unlike a contactor these relays have high switching performance and low power consumption. They need to be energized only during the switching process. There is no change in position during power failure. There is no heating of the coil as the coils are energized only during the switching resulting in very high reliability.
